  UK RAIL OPPORTUNITIES - CIVIL ENGINEERING.

Independent from the Euro, the UK’s economy is at an advance phase in predictable economic cycles and is moving out of recession. This is creating fast growing demand for broad minded and qualified civil engineering professionals. As a result one of the UK’s largest international contractors is AGAIN recruiting in Portugal to fill their growing vacancies. They have done this already this year and the benefits have been excellent with many Portuguese employees now joining the business and contributing in various sectors throughout the UK.
 
Perfil do Candidato:

  Opportunities exist in most Rail disciplines and locations both on site and in office support positions throughout the Country.
Typically, projects are on large rail construction developments throughout Great Britain and candidates must demonstrate at least 5 years experience with a reputable contractor working on similar projects. A degree is desirable but not essential if suitable experience is evident. We are especially looking for candidates with track, electrification, signalling and overall Rail experience to be part of a thriving team.
By past experience good induction processes/buddy schemes have greatly helped incoming recruits to find their feet, make friends and assimilate into the safety conscious UK way of working, assisted by generous allowances for the initial settling in period.
 
Oferta:
  Salaries, relevant to experience, seniority and appointment category are sufficiently competitive to deter poaching by competitors although other good practices are also an effective deterrent and these are actively deployed.
